People Before Profit Alliance has won 2 seats in the Northern Ireland Assembly elections.
Gerry Carroll topped the poll in West Belfast, receiving the second highest 1st preference vote of any candidate across Northern Ireland with 8,299 votes (18.09%).
Elsewhere in Foyle Constituency Eamonn McCann took a seat for People Before Profit, with a 1st preference vote of 4,176 (10.5%).
In North Belfast first time candidate Fiona Ni Fhearghais received a very respectable 1,286 votes (3.5%).
